Training Waiver for Nursing Student/Inactive Nurse Application

1. Upload the South Dakota Board of Nursing's approval letter that authorizes you to waive the training requirement.
2. After you submit this application to TMU, TMU will set up your profile. TMU will send you an email with directions to proceed to set up your TMU profile.
3. After you have completed your TMU profile, you may register to take the CNA Knowledge exam.
4. After you have taken the exam, TMU will send the Board your exam results. If you pass with a minimum score of 75%, the Board will add you to the CNA registry.
5. You may verify your CNA registry status on the Board's website: https://www.sduap.org/verify/
